Every repair starts with an evaluation, not an invoice. We open the tool, find what failed and why, and talk you through the most cost-effective route back to production. Sometimes that is a laser weld and a polish. Sometimes it is a rebuilt component we reverse engineer because the prints no longer exist. You get the options and a firm price before we cut anything. Repair covers more than damage: worn parting lines, galled slides, flash, and engineering changes that alter the part after the tool is already running. We take any make, whoever built it, and the tool does not have to be one of ours.

Do you repair molds you did not build?
Yes. We repair any mold, whether we built it or not, and we reverse engineer broken or worn components when prints no longer exist.
My mold broke down overnight. What do I do right now?
Call. The number works around the clock, and if nobody answers leave your number and what happened. Send the form too, with whatever you know. It reaches the people who do the repairs when the office opens at 6:00 AM.
How fast can you turn a repair around?
It depends on the damage, which is why every repair gets its own timeline after evaluation rather than a number off a price list. If your mold is down, call first and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
Do you make engineering changes to running tools?
Yes. Engineering changes, preventive maintenance and inspection are all regular work here.
Can a worn sealing surface be saved?
Usually. Laser welding rebuilds worn areas with a minimal heat-affected zone, and our polishers restore the original finish. It is often far cheaper than replacing the component.
