Cookie policy
This site sets three cookies. All three are named below, with what each one does and how long it lasts. If you would rather skip the explanation, the tables are the whole story.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep. It lets the site recognise the same browser on a later page or a later visit. Cookies cannot read files on your computer and they are not programs.
How this site uses them
For two things only. One remembers the choice you made about cookies. The other two count visits, so we can see which pages lead people to ask for a quote and which are not pulling their weight.
We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting or social media, because this site runs none of those. We do not sell personal information. We also use Matomo to measure the same things as Google Analytics, and it is set up not to use cookies at all, which is why it does not appear in the tables below.
Strictly necessary
Needed for the site to behave correctly. Without this one the cookie notice would reappear on every page you open.

Analytics
These tell us how the site is used. They do not carry your name, your email or anything you typed into a form.

Your browser can also block or delete cookies on its own, under settings or preferences. Blocking the necessary cookie means the notice will ask again each time you visit, because the record of your answer is the thing being blocked.
