Design, cutting, EDM, welding, grinding, finishing and inspection all happen here, across 22,500 square feet, so a tool is not waiting on a truck between steps. For a specific travel, table size or weight limit, call and get the number from the person who runs the machine.

What people ask about the floor.
How much five-axis capacity is on the floor?
Eight five-axis centers: Mikron HPM 800U HD, UCP 800 Duro (2) and HPM 1200 HD, Hermle C650 (3), and a Leadwell V-60iT. Sixteen mills in total, and the Mikrons all push coolant through the spindle so deep detail clears while it cuts.
Does anything run without an operator?
Yes. An Erowa Linear robot serves three of the Charmilles EDMs unattended around the clock, and three automated graphite mills keep electrodes ahead of that queue. Unattended hours cost less than attended ones, which is why EDM-heavy tooling quotes lower here.
What is the largest part you can surface grind?
Up to 20 by 40 inches, on the Okamoto 20 x 40. Behind it sit two Okamoto 16 x 32, nine Okamoto 6 x 18 and a Brown & Sharpe 8 x 18, thirteen surface grinders in total, plus a Landis ID/OD grinder.
What do you design and program in?
Creo and SolidWorks for design, on three seats between them. Mastercam for milling with six mill seats and two design seats, and Esprit for lathe and wire work.
